My five year old has a current obsessive interest in wombats. He has a few specific questions that I was hoping any Australians out there might answer for him-

1. Do people ever keep wombats as pets?
2. What do wombats smell like?
3. Have any of you ever petted a wombat, and if so, what does their fur feel like?
4. What do they look like when they are walking?
