You know how a lot of women say they're goddesses? You see it on TV a lot, "release your inner goddess".

What if men say they're gods and by using someone's product we, "unleash our inner god"?

We'd be called sexist, macho and chauvinistic.

God of War. Were always being told were from Mars =warmongers.

And what about that song what are little girls and boys made of?

"Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails" great I have the samme social value as a booger.

"sugar and spice and everything nice?" Candy . sure we all eat both but . . . NOW you wonder why more men commit armed robbery?

I want a politically corrct version of the "What are . . . made of?"! !! ! :x

I don't think so. It sounds absurdly over the top, like "unleash your inner Hercules". It sounds like an appeal to the need to be excessively masculine, with a slightly humorous edge. I'm not sure it's possible in our culture to express such a sentiment without sounding ridiculous, like the Vault commercial with "You're a master of mollusks!"

"Unlock your inner god with weight training with bowflex"

I'm just picturing naked contrappostos flexing their marble muscles bathed by diffuse white light in a gallery.

It sounds like some sort of mental illness...

"I have a goddess in me! No, really, I do!"

 That would be hilarious.

But seriously, I wouldn`t take commercials seriously. I personally find many ads aimed at women to be rather offensive, but of course they are designed to sell products, which usually means appealing to the lowest common denominator.
