Okay, yes...my boyfriend will be coming to see it with me. So, it'll be my boyfriend, my son, and me driving out to the middle of nowhere to do so. Yay!

Unless it's daytime in your part of the world, you are by definition in the path - it's the Moon going through Earth's shadow, not casting its own, much smaller, shadow on Earth's surface... ;)

Yeah, my dad and I were looking forward to this, but apparently it's supposed to be cloudy where we are. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, though!

We have clear skies here, but it's also 6 degrees Fahrenheit outside with a -10 degree windchill. I'll go look at the moon- briefly- but then I'm going back inside!
