Yesterday I had a really intense headache, and today I had a dizzy spell for an hour where I could barely walk and I couldn't think (I had to leave school early)
Is this because I'm stressed or is it because of some other illness?

Anybody? I don't particularly like being dizzy, so I would like a reason why it happened

It could be a drop in your blood pressure or blood sugar...

Stress can be the trigger factor. But then again so can many other things.

I have low blood pressure, but it wasn't that kind of dizzy. It was more of a headache dizzy then a lightheaded dizzy I get from my low blood pressure.

I get migraine headaches from stress, but not as often or as intensely as a lot of people do. I've also been nauseated with it several times.

A friend of mine once developed an allergic reaction to soaps and shampoos with formaldehyde. He had a lot of stress at work and at home and no place to decompress for several months. After the projects were done and the stress eased back to normal, the allergy went away.

Stress can probably trigger just about any ailment, if the other conditions for them are present. The dizzyness could be the symptom of a condition that was triggered by the stress.

I've had such dizzyness (even threw up a couple of times). I'm quite sure it was caused by anxiety, because the few occasions it happened I was spending a lot of time with my mom and it was stressing me out. I went to the ER once and later had some tests, but apparently there was nothing wrong with me.
But you can't be too safe, so I would go to the doctor anyway. But see if you can determine a common denominator for every time you have an attack, just in case it is anxiety-related.

If you read this first, go back to your panic attack thread. I think I know what's happening to you based on a comment you made there. What you said here may confim it.

When I am having a stressful time I have different reactions.

Most of the times my eczema starts again and I can have head aches or small attacks of dizziness.
Those attacks of dizziness last about a minute and happen when I am not focused on anything. Luckily I only when I am sitting down and not when I am driving a car or something. So it is not a big thing like hours, but can be quite disconcerting.

Most of the times I take it as a sign to take a day of and prevent meltdowns, or have them at least not in public.

I have fainted a couple of times and had seizures when I got overwhelmed with many physical tasks and people coming in different directions. I have meds for the seizures but still feel like I'll black out when there's too much going on at once. I've had to stop myself by sitting down. My boss's has now become more understanding about that.
