Has anyone ever considered that Aspergers might not be a disorder as most think it is??? what if its just the newest form of human evolution...? what if its just humanity evolving toward greater specialisation? (i know im not the only one that thinks this way...)

Personally I've always thought of it as just anouther type of person. The word disorder is so negative, and in this case pointless. Okay, so its not perfect being an Aspie, but normal people have their bumps and quirks too.
Aspies are simply a new flavor.

And I believe it to be evolution.

Not that I'm saying we are better, or anything. Evolution doesn't necessarily mean that.
Just something thats never happened before.

Just like when people who migrated out of Africa and into Europe started (over a great many generations) to have pale skin and freckles.

I don't know why there is a change happening.
Or how it might possibly be beneficial to the human race.

*Shrugs*

But it certainly looks like there is indeed a change.

Speaking from an evolutionary perspective, diversity of genes is desirable and healthy for the species. Why not a diversity of neurologies? Some will adapt and breed. Others will not. AS is not a significant disability to some. To some it is an advantage. Some will survive and breed and the AS gene will spread. I'm assuming that the "cause" of autism is natural genetic variation. Perhaps at some point the majority will be autistic and then neurotypicals will be a "disorder".

I don't like the connotation that the word "disorder" has.

It's a birth defect. People with Asperger's are still people, but we're not some next freaking rung on an "evolutionary" ladder of nonsense.

I know plenty about it, but that doesn't mean I have to accept it hook, line, and sinker though.

So how did the diversity of life arise? If you don't think evolution is a scientific theory, have you any alternatives that don't rely on unprovable assumptions?

I find it hard to believe that there are people who question the validity of evolution. Do these people also question gravity, genetics, nuclear physics?

Evolution is not a belief, it is a theory based on the observation of nature.

In Europe very few people would question evolution, the Catholic church does not.

In our society it makes us work different than others (neurotypicals) do, mostly in a negative manor therefore it's a disorder or disability in my opinion considering it disables us to act in a way that's considered normal.

I too have often wondered about this and also think that it's an advanced thing. Technically it's perfect apart from stims and tics. And a few obsessions here and there, maybe it's a link to the past of the Neanderthal era? What if homo-sapien and Neanderthal came together?
