I hate the word "cuddle", I always use the word "hug", if ignore list was enabled I would ignore anyone that uses it.

I also hate the "word" "Preggers" as in slang for pregnant.

stink

I prefer the term smell (not politically correct, I know) or reek

But I especially hate it when its used to describe ineptitude.

I hate when I used "like" and I don't appreciate when I start sentences with "well". As for words that I just don't like, I can't think of anything specific.

"crunk", "bling", "phat", or any other such made-up words that sound stupid, and that everyone starts using in order to sound cool. Or when people use something "bad" or "sick" to mean the opposite.

The other day I was talking to someone who said that he thinks a new motorcycle is "bad". Which confused me, because he had just been complimenting it. I then remembered that apparently it's fashionable for people to call something bad when they think it's cool. I said "Do you mean bad as 'bad', or bad as 'good'?" He gave me a weird look, said "Uhh.. good." and wrapped up the conversation soon afterward.

I hate the words, Handicap/Handicapped, ret*d/ret*d, try, Gay, whatever and like, where it's not supposed to fit in a sentence.

As an English major, it is imperative that I loathe all uses of "nice" and "very".

Additionally, I hate "stinks" and "crap".

I also hate the use of impact as a verb, and the mis-use of the word "pornography", "lust", "intelligent design theorist", "sanitary engineer", and "sex and violence" used together.

YES.. I hate deceptive lies intended to make things sound nicer than they are, or "euphemisms" as they are euphamistically called.

My granddad didn't "pass away", he died. WTF does that mean anyway? I've passed slow traffic, I've passed gas, but how the hell do you pass "away"?

Disabled people aren't necessarily "differently abled". You could be missing your legs and in all likelihood you'd still have no abilities that are unique or different from anybody else's.

Nor are short people "vertically challenged". They can't somehow become taller if they overcome a "challenge", they're just short. End of story.

"African American" is another stupid one. The vast majority of black people have been here for several generations. They're Americans. I don't refer to myself as an Irish-German-British-Scottish American because my ancestors came from those countries over 100 years ago! A black friend of mine gets pissed off when some politically correct jackass refers to her as A-A, because her family is actually from Jamaica.

One of the absolute worst is "Director of First Impressions" instead of "receptionist". I thought it was a joke the first time I heard it, but there are numerous job openings for that title.
