I know now that I may find it in my lifetime.

Social_Fantom, I find your idea of being an unorthodox "social maverick" to be interesting. I've never looked at it that way before, and now you have me thinking.

Yeah, that's how I describe how I fit in (or don't) with others. I refuse to conform to the social norms that my peers (sheep) follow, I couldn't if I wanted to anyway. I think that is the biggest reason my peers hate me so much. Oh well, as long as I am my own individual, to Hell with what they think about me.

^ Good choice of words. I just wish I could just be me without worrying about people's criticisms.

Believe it or not, I used to want to fit in with everyone else so badly. I tried and tried but it seemed like I was so much different than everyone else. I couldn't understand all of the social cues that everyone seemed to pick up on naturally. One day I threw my hands up and said "F*CK IT!! I'm different than everyone else and I'm going to stay that way." Thus I became my own person, openly opposing the ways of the sheep, making them hate me even more. In fact, I actually rebel against my peers. I will not wear something that is in style just because everyone else is. I wear whatever the hell I want, in style or not. Nonconformity has a price though, but I was willing to take it.

I want that too!

In life (generally speaking) I want a comfortable income, a better house than the creakingly ancient one I live in now, a better car with better gas mileage and so on.

At work, I'd like to be respected as an equal and no longer be overlooked when promotion time comes around. I'm tired of being the 'Workhorse' and the 'Go-to-Girl' whenever people have questions and then later, those same people are rewarded for what was essentially an opportunity or a solution I created for them.


Socially - I just wish I knew how to talk to people in such a way that I didn't make them instantly hate me.

what I would want most is not always the right thing to do,
I miss my family thats over 500 miles away,
My ex tried to totaly strip our child from me and she did not care how me and our child felt about it,
which makes me not care about her and how she feels or thinks any more,
I would want full custody of my son and to move back home near my family.

I want to be able to sleep.

^ That and to be ....liked.

To live on an island all alone...

That has been one of my dreams but with a dog and some other animals so I can have fresh milk, eggs etc.

inner peace...and productivity.
