Is it part of their series "The Drug Years" ? That's been running for awhile, hasn't it ?
Not knocking the subject, though-just that books tend to be more informative & detailed (for me) than tv shows that are not "in-depth".
"Storming Heaven:LSD and the American Dream" (1987) by Jay Stevens, for example-that book was both well-researched (data) & delightfully entertaining (anecdotes).

Am making new/separate post in order to move/bump this thread back up-since the show is on tonight.
Had thought it was a rerun of shows I'd already seen on History Channel, but I just saw the schedule & it read-"LSD & Peyote: A Psychedelic Odyssey", from 10 p.m.-12 midnight (Eastern U.S. time.). The listing also said "new" next to title of show (on cable's "guide" screen), so that also confirms that it's NOT rerun. That's all.

I just called one of my buddies to remind him to watch.
