Who likes to write in a journal?

I do.

I do that, every now and again.

I do it once in a while to clear my mind of thoughts.

I used to do a lot of journal writing until once, the police discovered my journals (don't ask) and they showed them to my mother, grandmother and 3 mental health workers. Now, i'm hesitant to put anything on paper that's personal.
If I want to write about something, I will use MSword, write it and then delete it again. Easy. :)

I used to keep a journal. It was a good way of sorting out my thoughts. To be truly of any benefit it has to be private though, so you can express your innermost thoughts and feelings without fear of family or any one else reading it, which could be highly embarrassing. I used to keep mine password protected encrypted.

I just do it out of boredom.

You mean like a diary? I wrote almost every day from fifteen to twenty-seven. I expected to become famous, and thought I would need the information for my autobiography. Some bits are pretty embarrassing to read. :?

OMG....I write all the time in my journal.

I've done it since I was 10!! !!

I have probably over 30 journal books. I make it to be important espeacially through life's specific events.

I save all of my thoughts into text files and put them into a zip hidden in a windows file. The zip even has a password.
And my journals are more random thoughts that could be bad if ever found...

I've always journaled. I've noticed patterns in my writing. Most of them have to do with how stressed I am. The more stressed I am, the less I write. The more trapped in a weird body I feel, the more I write trying to pull the normality out I suppose. They've varied over the years. Actual real journaling to bits of stories, poems, little pieces of art. Comics, newspaper articles, cut and paste decollage from fashion magazines.

Just depends on what my life is like. I think I said that. I've been so ultra stressed lately that I find myself printing WP posts and emails to the shrink and just pasting them in. I still love the idea of the paper, but am less inclined to actually put pen to it.

I used to when I was in HS but gradually lost interest in it. I still have my journals though... They make for some interesting reading material every now and then. :)

I wish I had kept a journal of my life, up until now.

I'm not very verbal when it comes to ppl not close to me, so I'll often communicate by writing, emails etc. I have seen a psychologist since I was pretty young, and the only way I have been able to discuss anything with them is via journals. The one I am seeing currently (its been quite a few years on and off) is less judgemental than some, so sometimes I can even start a conversation, but I often resort to written crap

Not journals, just religious poetry, analogies, etc.
