I just noticed this morning that the bag of pistachios I have has a allergy warning label that said "Allergy Warning, Contains Pistachios." No, really?

A butchers knife was bought about 3 weeks ago by my mother and it said on the tag attached to the handle...."Warning: This product is sharp. Keep out of reach of children".
As who the heck would be stupid enough not to know that a knife is sharp and to actually give a child a butchers knife?

Also, on the label on some bottles of wine it says..."Contains alcohol".
I think thats hallerious.

I had fish sticks for dinner today. On the package it says: "Allergy information: contains fish"

You probably do not want to know what the fish sticks without the warning contain. 8O

I saw the same thing on a jar of peanut butter...it's getting ridiculous @_@

There's this salad dressing, I think it's from Aldi's, on the bottle is a photo of a salad, just lettuce and probably some onion or raddish or something, maybe some shreds of carrot...anyway, there's no dressing on it. No salad dressing is on this salad. And it says "Serving suggestion."

Do you suggest I not eat your dressing? o_O

Does Engrish count as funny warnings? ;)

I have a Hot Wheels car, the package warns "Small parts may be generated." o_O I've been waiting, but so far, no dice =(

I think you can blame that on that guy who spilled McDonald's coffee on his genitals while driving and sued.

America, what a wonderful country

There are signs in the low-lying areas here around Little Rock that say "Road unsafe when under water." I laugh almost every time I see one.

On plastic bags. Warning: This bag is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.

The reason for all these dumb warnings is to protect companies from being sued because of peoples' stupidity and lack of common sense.
Like a mother would allow her child to play with a plastic bag and he suffocates and bam she sues the company whom made the bag. But with the warning, she wouldn't be able to because there was a warning on the bag.

"warning: not for use as a flotation device"
on a MATTRESS!

"warning: this product may become hot when in use"
on a straightening iron

"not for use while sleeping"
on a blowdryer

"warning: contents may be sharp and can puncture"
on a package of sewing needles

my faith in humanity gets lower every day

Don't laugh. I've seen signs just like this in Korea. It's very scary. They also have a "traditional village" that is called the Folk Village. In the train station the sign reads "Fork Village". Gotta love it.
