Er, not really. Most communities I've come across are MUCH stricter than this one as to posting sprees from any one individual. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm a relatively new member and who am I to state what the forum etiquette here should be?
But I've come across plenty where you will be flamed for starting 3+ threads a day, unless the threads are particularly popular and relevant to everyone. Or for habitually posting nonsense, or replies without content. And the flamers are completely backed for quality control.
As for me, I find lots and lots of posting difficult to follow, so I don't check the random, general, or game forums as much. Some members seem to love those. To each his own.

I'm the same way, I like to help people but I also like to spam with my friends.
I know what threads are appropriate for that, I think most of us do.

I like them because I can be silly when I usually can't (plus I don't have to worry if my jokes are bad, since people here get I have Autism, so not all my jokes are awesome

I think it's inevitable. OCD seems to be typical of lots of us here. I just wish someone would prize me kicking and screaming away from the games forum before I take root in there.
