Confidence migt be wrong, self-asteem is a better word to use here.

Heres one thing I notice, some people get a little sad when a thread they started die. But, if I where to make a "how much of a dork do you think I am" poll-thread for example, and it went down shriking in flames and disappeared, I wouldn`t put to much into it.

Because, there are several reasons that happens. It doesn`t have to meen that people are mean when it happens. I myself notice that I stray mostly amongst those on page 1 in random discussion. Sometimes I even read something interesting, think about answering but get lost in reading something or something like that. And there so much to read with news stuff comming in every day, so threads will die, no matter how popular you are. Try not to put so much into it when it happens, its not worth the grief. It just puts you down, nothing else. Read and enjoy, write and enjoy.
