I pretend I am talking about it to an invisible person

I just added it to my Netflix queue - after I watch it, you can talk with me about it if you'd like!

Yes! I seem to have this need to talk about Jeffrey Dahmers murder spree and apparently this grosses people out. I don't talk about it to people very often because I don't want to make them uncomfortable, but when I see a conversation in which I can get involved and talk about it I wont hesitate to do so.
If I can't talk about it to others and I want to talk about it, I will either write about it or talk to myself about it as a substitute.

I indulge in my obsessions privately. I am rereading The Perfect Mile, the story of Roger Bannister, John Landy and Wes Santee.

Luckily, I have the Siamese Internet Cat Club where I can talk about Siamese, cats in general and pets in general, all I want.

Yes, definitely. Sometimes it helps if I write in my journal about my obsessions.

For me messageboards help, I need to poxt on the Sonic boards again where I can rant about the current future/parallel world plothole and come up with theories all I want.

A second thing I have done is to write stories, fanfiction in my case, but then use that to obcess by trying to perfectly fill such plothole. And maybe 5 people will read it, who knows

This is how I feel about London and Routemasters.
