Do you have a favorite city and does it annoy you when people talk bad about it?


I get very insulted when people talk bad about Spokane. Saying it's a bad city, crummy, etc.

I just found out what that Bob Rivers song is about. I had my boyfriend listen to the song "Spokane" and he told me they are saying it's a bad city and it's small. I was so insulted by the song. Gah, I bet they even pronounced the name on purpose and Bob doesn't even like the city so he made fun of it. I pity people who don't like the town.

Maybe they have run into some of the bad apples in Spokane. I do get annoyed with some people who travel to California to work in my trade and have nothing good to say about it. One guy back in 2005 finally really pissed me off and one of the nicer things I said to him was "Why don't you go back to f***ing paradise you f***ing a**hole." He apparently got the point because he cooled his jets considerably after that. So I do understand the point that you are making.
