Christmas---can be ham, or something like a pork roast, dressing
Thanksgiving---turkey and dressing/ham/pumpkin pie
New Year's Day---a dish with cabbage in it
4th of July---cookout, barbecue hamburgers (hamburgers with a barbecue sauce grilled into them)
Memorial Day---usually camping so we have hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill
Birthdays---usually eat out at a restaurant of the birthday person's choice
Easter---can vary---typically something like chicken and dumplings/cake

Family feast topic
Only on holidays and Sundays did my childhood family eat well. Oh, and when someone came to visit, so I used to like planned visitors. Sunday was always a roast beef with gravy.
Christmas, New Years, Easter and Thanksgiving are all turkey meals. But the Festive pudding was always welcome!
