There is a long standing debate that BF Skinner main proponent of Behaviorism actually kept his own daughter Deborah in a specially constructed Skinner Box.
Deborah claims her dad's box was not designed to classically condition her , but rather to keep her warm during excessive periods of cold weather..
Skinner's methods are the foundations to more sophisticated forms of behavioral modification such as those in the Judge Rotenberg Centre.
