Just wondering how many Irish Aspies are on WP.

I'm only half-Irish (Shanahan on my mom's side) and half-French (Fournier on my dad's side.)
I suppose though that I'd be fully Gaelic/Gaulish.

I'm Irish. My family ancestry is mostly Irish with English and Scottish in my maternal grandfather's family.

I am Aspie. Native Belgian but lived in Ireland for 3 years: 1 year in Dublin and 2 years in Belfast. Needless to say the country holds a special place in my heart. Apart from living on the island for 3 years, I travelled all over the Emerald Isle. It was also very interesting for me as an immigrant to experience life both north and south of the border (although in the end the differences were not that drastic)

Not really Irish, but given my long time on the island the country will always have a special place in my heart.

My Grandpa Kelly was pure Irish, but I am only a quarter-Irish. But it is a nice quarter. :D

I'm Irish, Scottish, English, French, Dutch, and Native American. Mostly Irish, and I look Irish. :)

At least one set of my great-great grandparents on each side of my family was probably full Irish.

Supposedly, I am of half Irish descent (father's name was Healy) although I am American by birth. I am also part German, French, English, & American Indian (suspect either Algonquin or Sioux). I mostly relate to the Irish, have a strong preference for Irish music & history. Maybe because all the oppression I have experienced from others, especially authority figures. Somehow, I survived both the emotional & physical abuse.

I have been told I look Irish & both my kids definitely look Irish.

I'm largely Irish. My grandmother's grandfather was from Cork (I guess).

French, Portuguese, German and a little bitty Native American thrown in.

I'm half Irish, and I look Irish evidently. I remember Irish nuns at school remarking that I looked like a little Irish girl. I was six at the time.
I had someone (who didn't really know me) ask me just yesterday, when are you going back to Ireland.
Some one else once remarked I looked Irish, because of my dark hair and blue eyes.

I'm Irish, and French Canadian, which probably means that I'm also part Native American as well. Parts of my dad's Family were Dutch and German. Allegedly, the German side of the family, which has been here for a couple of hundred years still spoke a German dialect until around the time the US got involved in WWI.

I'm about an eighth Irish, on my father's side. I'm also a quarter Scottish, and a quarter or an eighth German Jewish, but I'm not entirely sure how much.

I am about 40% Celtic but you would never guess by looking at me.

My great-grandfather on my mother's side was completely Irish, and there's a lot of Irish blood on my father's side too. For some unknown reason, my dad's parents tried to hush up their respective Irish ancestries. I cannot for the life of me think why...

Also, one of my maternal great-grandmothers was Welsh, and there's Welsh ancestry on my paternal side too.

The rest of me is English.
