If you're 16 or older, get your license, a couple jobs, save up some money for deposit and savings. When you're 18, move out.

I'm not really the best to be speaking though. I was living on my own for four months, then I lost both jobs simultaneously and have had to live with my parents again.

uhm, as I STRONGLY dislike teenage rebellion, we really don't know the situation, what is he going through with family and stuff like that, I doubt anyone here could give a good advise, especially without knowing.

Shouldn't this be in Haven?

details, youngling. Need details.

are they molesting you, are they letting someone molest you? Are you being sent to bed with no supper? Is someone hitting you? Are you spending your days and nights in your room with death metal blaring so the people in the next block over call the cops while you're in your dark fortress of solitude painting your fingernails black and cutting yourself praying to the goat skull sitting atop your PS3?

Do a few things around the house without being asked and you may not get treated like you are lazy. As for the rest...those are not complaints about you family. I repeat...go hug your parents.

ugh.

maybe by "lazy" they mean unmotivated and unclear about your future. If you tried showing more initiative or volunteering or something - join a school sport or something. Start researching college and what you want to study in college.

Aside from that, it's completely normal for teenagers to have these feelings of your world being in a complete upheaval. Once you get some direction, it'll pass.

What's running away from home gonna do? Nothing. You've got no schooling [no diploma], you've got no marketable job skills. Where will you live? How will you eat? You gonna be a bum?

Life is temporary. Your life, your parents lives, my life, et cetera. Things will change and you will not always be with your parents. So plan and prepare.

Guy, every parent hates their teenage kids. It's a rule of thumb. They all call their teenage kids lazy; high school is always hell, and this sort of crap happens all the time. Personally, when it happened to me, I just grit my teeth and bared it.
I have... very little communication with my family, now. Not that I'd really have anything to talk about with them.
If you can get a job, do so, save money, etc., etc.
But, I don't know what country you're in, the rules and laws of that place, so I really can't tell you. I head that some of the more backwards American states don't give full adult rights to people until they're in' their mid twenties. Any truth to that?
If so; you, my friend, are screwed if you live in one of those states. Or one of those "twenty one" weird places.

But, truth is, what you're experiencing is just a passing phase. Don't make any foolish decisions that may jeopordise your future.
