Anyone here take potassium?

I just started a few days ago because I was getting odd cramps in weird places. No, it's not that time of the month...

Anyway, I swear I feel a little more clear-headed, more on an even keel. Y'know?

I don't know if it's supposed to do that but I like it.

Oh, wait! Potassium is an anti-depressant! It's also an electrolyte which helps in communication between neuro-receptors. Neat!

That's a reaction between high purity potassium and water. The potassium rips the oxygen off the water and provides activation energy for the released hydrogen to undergo the formation reaction of water when combined with the atmospheric oxygen.

erm, you do realize that's potassium in its metallic state, right?

Potassium is good, but not to much of it.
But watch out for the potassium chloride :) that will stop a heart used wrong
(or right, thats what its used for often.)
for example judicial execution through lethal injection or used to terminate the life of the unborn fetus in induced abortion procedures by lethal injection to the heart, which induces cardiac arrest. Oh, and its a great fertilizer for blooming flowers.

I think I used to use potasium strips in chemistry.

I do, not everyday though...I normally supplement in the summer though, since I'm more active. Used to get terrible leg cramps until I started doing this.

Ahhhh so that may be why D has been fairly balanced, bananas are a great source of potassium and he LOVES them.
Hmm might do a test and not buy any and see how he is.

Digger1, you can easily get your daily requirement from fruit. Have you any problems in that area, being unable to eat fruit for whatever reason? If you don't I think fruit would be the tastier option. A 16 oz carton of OJ has a quarter of the recommended daily amount alone, bananas have a ton as well, as do various other fruits.
