 There are a LOT more people like me than I could possibly imagine
 Some people are idiots
 Love does exist (okay, so I didn't find it out ON WP, but more of as a result of coming here)
 Some NT's are very evil
 Even the young can be wiser than the sensei
 Just because you're on the wrong planet doesn't mean you can't make a good impression

Didn't know people on a forum could be frank and earnest with out {{{hugs}}} and bullying, and cliques.

Didn't know there were so many gd aliens out there!

The AS World is even more bleak and depressing than I thought. And that's saying something because I figured it was pretty bleak.

Exactly! :D

Plus at last I understand meltdowns - that was a very important thing for me. A real 'last piece fitted into the jigsaw' moment.

I've learnt the aspie population is just as diverse and different as the NTS. We have different opinions and natures. We aren't THE SAME.

I think a lot of people still have to learn this.

I'm a lot nicer guy than people give me credit for IRL.
I'm still not very good at anticipating how people will react to things that I say.
Aspies and NTs have more similarities than differences.

Agreed. To know that I'm actually not the only one who does that is most heartening.

Plus, I feel like a part of a whole now, rather than just "the odd one" in any given group. It feels good :)
