Why do people ask women this? Espicially if they do not even know them?

1. How could know thing this be of any use or interest to you?
2. If she is not preganent, you basically made her feel bad, and m,ade yourself look stupid,
3. If she is pregensnt and you are not sure enough to know, asking this could leave a situaion as 2.
4. If you are sure, then there is no reason to ask.

Finally whats with touching the womonas stomach, If I was a preganent woman, I sure wouldnt want some starnger who nornally wouldnt even give me a second thought, touch me in such a location, on the basis of me being pregant. Likewise why would stranagers wnat to do so?

I don't understand this either. I am not pregnant, but I carry most of my weight in my tummy. Some people tend to think I am pregnant, and i've even had someone touch my stomach a couple of times. It's upsetting and embarrassing.


I mean come on, just because someone is pregnant, or you think they are, does NOT give you the right to invade their personal space.

I have a friend that carries a lot of weight on her tummy as well, and someone asked her how far along she is, she felt embarrased. I should go to a guy with a beer gut and ask the how far along they are.

I knew at least one guy would come in here and say they were.

I've always thought whether or not a woman was pregnant is kind of obvious at a certain point.

"Are you pregnant?"

"No, I drank a lot of water in the past 24 hours."

If you ask a woman and she doesn't reply immediately is it a pregnant pause?

The word's spelling is pregnant, ~pregnent.

I never ask that question, but I pretty much never talk to anybody anyway, especially strangers.
