I know not all of you are into it, but we totally are! We have started decorating, bought all our halloween supplies and are hosting a post wedding shindig and we expect people to dress in Halloween Costumes the night of!

We have been masterplanning the theme, decor, etc for a couple of months, so we are in fullout halloween mode and almost prepared to start watching Halloween flicks. Anyone else with me?! !!

Any thoughts on what you might be this year? Have any plans?

Here are some pics of the cool Dexter-inspired invites we made and sent out to our guests:

My husband is going to dress as Dexter in the white paint-style suit and goggles, etc and a friend of ours is going to dress as one of Dexter's victim's wrapped in plastic wrap with a slit on her face. We have made blood slides, splatter sheets, blood analysis strings to measure splatters, barbie body bits tied off like they would be on the show, Ice truck killer style paper wrapped body parts, etc. I can't wait to see it all in action! We hired a photographer for the night of, so I will post pics again, but want to hear what others are up to!

I don't really get into it, but I love Halloween! I like to look at all the costumes and props they have for sale at various places. :D

I probably won't be doing much this halloween. I got the halloween Bat webkinz, and I'm going to adopt him this halloween. Halloween has been pretty quiet the past few years, but this year since i'm in a new neighborhood, we'll probably actually get trick or treaters, which is exciting!

Although I no longer participate, I still like Halloween. It's cool to see some of the costumes people come up with. Also, people seem to be more high spirited during the holiday. 8) :)

I've been looking for a good quality pirate costume for years now.

I used to go to "bar parties" that were Halloween themed, and had free drinks for those who dressed up. It was a good time, but, I had to give it up when I decided to quit drinkng. I still drink occasionally but no where near what I used to. Of all the bar stuff I was involved in, it's those special occasions that will be missed. Halloween gets a thumbs up. :thumleft:

I luv Halloween, my favorite holiday. I luv all the creepy and not-so creepy deco. Gives me an excuse to decorate without being accused of witch craft. Also all the fun that's associated with it. I think I was a pagan in my last life.. Image

Check this out, from last year. I bought a black cat and Bob loved him!!

Obviously I don't love it as much as you do 8O

I'm excited because I thought I was going to spend it alone, and it turns out that plans got changed and now I don't have to =)

They ARE Fun:)

We just bought a whole whack of Halloween stuff. Think that when my oldest is ready to give up on trick or treating (not likely to happen anytime soon if she is anything like her ma' ) We can set up a spooky house for other kids to come and enjoy:)

But until then...halloween parties it is :D

Never too old to dress up! I am 30:) My Husband is 35 and just started dressing up last year!

You could always have fun with it by handing out candy dressed in costume, instead of door-to-door.
