Hey, any fans out their of the Ultimate Fighting Championchip?

Its a free event tonight on spike at 9pm, I just got a call telling me this and got invited to a small party where they always serve good food and drinks and we watch fights on a big screen TV.

Its a bit different, its UFC fighters going up against Pride fighters, never seen this before itll be nasty!

Anybody else watching the bloodbath tonight?

YES, light-heavyweight chanpionchip, itll all be title holders i guess (so im told) of both UFC and Pride. Jackson V henderson will be a wailin fight! and Kro-Cop V Kongo should also be decent.

Bisbing V hamill also, thats all i remember but I have yet to look it up, someone called me and told me what was happeining and they may or may not be accurate. Im pretty sure Rampage will dominate and id like to see Mircro win but he has lost the last 2 (i think) fights. I missed the last UFC due to technical error and only knew the results of a few fights, ill be dammed if ill miss this event, what sucks is whenever I go to these little parties everyone is so damn loud its hard for me to watch the fight, everyone seems to pay at the door to watch the fight and instead will spoend the whole event talking in the other room, makes no sence, im the only 1 focused on the fight, then everyone askes me what is happeining, and all i can think is that i want to keep watching and not be interupted to answer their question just cause they cant pay attention, its stupid, i may not even attend, just sit in my nice quiet place and watch it alone, not sure yet.

I cant wait for 9:00 :D :skull:

hey, well it was alright, their was not alot of ppl at the house and that was nice, i need it quiet, and suggested we limit the amount of ppl who show up. Anyways the fights were decent, i did not like some of the judges decisions, the Kro Cop fight was BS he got kneed in the groin 2 times by Kongo and after that Kro Cop appeared to be in pain (obviously) slowing him down and he lost by decision. The judges were jackasses, their were a few other decisions that I though sucked, seemd they did the opposite of what I would think they should have done. All and all I had a good time, the next event is on the 22nd in 2 weeks and will cost $39.95 to watch on I demand.

I was pleased to see rampage win, that was a very good fight, i wanted to see him slam henderson, but he did manage to get out from under him a few times, they both obviously are very strong and skilled.

I wish Joe Rogan would keep his mouth shut!

Yo man, im still realling from last nights party. At the last moment I decided to go to that party across town (just to make an apperence) and stayed the whole time!! Watched the fight and was delighted to see not a ton of ppl were their, and that I knew everybody. The last fight between Chuck Liddell and Jardeen was good, lots of punches thrown, but I hate leaving it to the judges, tho I suppose everyone who won this time as a result of decision did earn it, unlike the last event, where the judges were pissing me off.

Forrest Griffen fight was pretty savage, lots of blood in that. No knockouts, 1 tap out and the rest were desisions. I must say tho, some fights are less active then others, but tonights pretty much every fight was 3 rounds of brutality. You really can see the difference now that more PRIDE fighters are getting into the octagon, deffinatly different styles of fighting, but it seems overall that PRIDE fighters dont do quite so well as you would think if its against another UFC guy.

The next fight I beleive is October 20, so we got about another mounth.

pretty nice card, ufc76 was.

forrest was an animal, he could have fought 6 rounds if needed.

machida, i still like the guy, really stylish and elusive, sorta lacks one punch power though.

the main event was nice. even non MMA fans (boxing fans) would have not complained that its all gonna be a hug fest. it was muay thai all the way.

i was rooting for chuck, but he clearly lost, i believe.

Heh, i think everyone was rooting for chuck, but I could tell he lacked octagon control, very important for judges, he narrowly lost, like 29-28, but their scoring is odd, i nver could understand it and sometimes dissagree with the judges, not that my opinion counts.

yah, the scoring was close, but for me, it was a clear loss for chuck. his level of play was just not like what it used to be.

i was expecting him to beat up jardine like he owed him money. IMO chuck is beginning to slide. better get out of the sport after this year, time's catching up on him.

i would have loved to watch mirko vs. chuck, prime for prime.

Heh, ya, you gotta admit tho, sometimes experience is better then age. Too a certain point anyways. Both were in their mid 30's (relativly old for the average fighter) and both were highly experienced. I would hate to see the ice man go, hes an awsome fighter, and jardeen definatly won that match, as close as it was. Never expected it until the 2nd round when I beleived the Ice Man may actually looose.

Jeeze... not sure about Cro Kop VS. The Ice man... Both have lost 2 fights in a row... I suppose they would be good contenders, hmm... now that I think about it... maby it would be a good fight, I doubt we will be seeing Kro Cop anytime soon... but Liddell will be around, hes not over yet.
