First of all, where do you come from? Where have you been (countries)?

I come from Norway. I like to travel, but have so far only been once outside Europe, and that was in Morocco. But I have been to quite a few European countries. My favourite so far is Italy, followed by Britain, France and Croatia. Italy is really beautiful. I have been there three times and seen Venice, Rome and Tuscany. I will go there again in two weeks and will then stay outside Naples. I will see Pompei, Capri, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. I have also been several times to England (not the other parts of the UK). I stayed 17 days in York and have travelled around the country, seeing for instance Chester, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and of course London. I havent seen so much of France, but would love to see more. Have been to Paris and the surrounding area and travelled through the country py train. Croatia is nice too. Particularly Dubrovnik and Split. As a naturist it is also a nice country to visit due to its many naturist beaches. I was also a short trip in Bosnia Hercegovina where I visited Mostar. This summer I spend one week in the Baltics, more exactly Estonia + Latvia. Last year I was in Budapest and the surrounding area. Very interesting country. Budapest is like a larger version of Prag. Prag is probably nicer, but both are quite nice. Hmm, which else is there. Needless to say, like all Norwegians I have been dozens of time to Sweden and Denmark. Ive passed through Finland, Germany, Austira, Switzerland and Belgium. Most of this was part of an interrail trip a long time ago. We stayed one day in Amsterdam. Nice city with canals. Well worth visiting. And, of course the Canary Islands, like 80 % of the Norwegian population....

From Canada, furthest I've been from here is Mississippi.

Cozumel, Mexico is the only time I've been outside of the U.S.

I have been to 14 states.

The only travel I participate in is through time.

I have been around a good deal of Europe (Central and Eastern Europe), some of canada and some other places. Looking for a career that requires travel. My favorite country so far has been Slovakia

might be more like 90% - and they all drink way too much when abroad
i`ve been around but dont like to travel very much, its ok if its no hassel and i have
some company i`m comfortable with - no backpacking across anything for me, like
to have rooms/apartments rented in advance and a comfortable way of getting to
them if going on vacations or something like that. One thing i never quite "get" are
those trips that are a little cheaper but you dont know excactly what hotel you`re
going to, so you risk spending 14 days at a dump, i like to know what i`m going to,
no annoying surprises.

A fellow norwegian i see btw - nice place Bergen, but you have that rain-thing going on

traveling is nice. I have been in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Turkey, Croatia, Czech, Switzerland, Belgium and im from Denmark.

I wish one day I can travel the world

When I was on the study trip to York, we drank quite a lot. The English people there thought Norwegians had to be real drunkards. But no wonder that we drink there, as alcohol in England is practically FREE. Or more exact, one third the Norwegian price. The same applies to many other places, like the Canaries. I have travelled quite a lot on this last minute trips. They are CHEAP. Thats the good side of it. And, actually, the hotels were quite ok. As long as I get my own bathroom and its clean, Im happy. I even have got my own verandah. But to be honest, the Canaries are a bit boring. I consider Thailand this year, but as I a naturist, thats not the best choice. Besides it takes a lot more time on the plane. And its TOO hot for me. The Canaries are quite ok when it comes to temperature in winter times.

I live in Bergen now, but I am orginally from outside Oslo. I think Bergen is the nicest place in Norway. Maybe a bit much rain, particularly in the autumn, but you get used to it...

Do you mean nudist? Naturist is a bit obscure.

I only went O/S once to Vietnam in 1992 (from Sydney). That's how I found out I hate longer distance flying. I don't think I could ever fly to Europe or North American, the flights are just too long. I feel ambivalent about tourism, it's a kind of voyeurism. In 3rd world countries you feel like a creep, everyone is so poor.

I've seen most of Australia (where I live) and because it's so big here, that's a lot of travel.

I want to go somewhere in Europe one of these days.

Isnt that the same thing? I have the impression that the term naturism is the more usual. At least thats the term used by most the naturist associations.

yes I believe, for insiders 'naturist' is used, but the average person tends to use 'nudist', I don't think they're sure what a 'naturist' is. Over here, they're called 'nude beaches', not 'naturist beaches' so that's why people don't always know the term.

Nudist is just an old word for naturist i think - same thing
in short i guess its just people being comfortable with
being naked around other people, or just comfortable
with it all together
