My boyfriend has a stupid boss

No wonder everyone wants to transfer.



Last week my boyfriend was told to vacuum and to use two extension cords because they took out some of the outlets. He asked if it's a fire hazard because he has heard of it before somewhere. His boss said it wasn't, so my boyfriend did what he was told to do.

Then a safety inspector guy saw it and told him he wasn't supposed to be using two cords and it's a safety hazard. My boyfriend said his boss told him to use them and the safety guy talked to the boss.

The very next day, he was put on bathroom duty. The funny thing is, he thinks he is punishing him but my boyfriend doesn't care because he is being paid the same amount and the fact he told him to use two safety cords and then got mad at him for telling.

Everyone's boss is stupid.

Excluding, of course, he who is his own boss.

What business does he have punishing him for his own mistake? He ought to take it up with HR.

I have no clue, that's why I say the boss is stupid. My boyfriend is trying to transfer to another job.
