How will we pronounce this? "two thousand (and) ten" or "twenty ten"? I personally think that "twenty twenty" for 2020 sounds cool.

two thousand twenty. I'm sure no one ever said nineteen and one for 1901.

probably both ways because we'll have become accustomed to sayin two thousand.

But by 2013 most people will want to take the short way out when it comes to saying the year.

This reminds of when I was in elementary school and the teachers always told we would graduate in 2,000. I used to think that was the biggest joke ever. how could the year 2,000 come before we had the year 20 hundred?

Personally, I'll call it twenty-ten. Actually, I dropped the "20" already, I've been using '08 (oh eight, or whever the year is) for several years now.

I really hope that the whole "2K" bullcrap ends by then :x I can understand 2000 being shortened to 2K, but 2001 being 2K1?? That's pushing it....and 2K10...you're saving yourself...zero characters
