I spend lot of my time on the computer when I am not working. When I am at my parents' I spend my time on the computer there. As long as there is internet, I spend my time on it.
But I still go to work, get up and leave on time, I still eat and shower. I am still able to get off and do things that need to be done. I can still clean my apartment and still do things that need to be done. But my own mother thinks it impairs me because I don't have any friends except for my family and my boyfriend. I don't go out with anyone except my bf, I didn't spend time with my family on Thanksgiving. I left the table and went back to doing computer. But I choose to not have friends. I am not interested. I have my boyfriend and that is good enough.
Hey, at least I went to the house today my parents are working on so they can sell it when it's finished. I didn't miss the internet because it isn't going anywhere. Everything will still be on it when I get back. I can go on trips and not miss the internet. if I had my own laptop and it had wireless on it, I would get on it in a heartbeat when I am at the condo or in the hotel room, if it's free of course.

When I have kids, expect to see me less on here.

I voted no. If it isn't causing problems, it's not a problem.

I would say the opposite for me,
the computer is a tool i use to
work with, i dont have a addiction
or anything towards it, just a tool
like a hammer or a screwdriver,
a thing that saves me time and
makes $. Thats why i got a computer
to begin with, i was sure i could
use it to make money if i got one.
So i made a plan, buying a computer
and then use it to earn back the
cost i had with bying it. Worked fine
and then i just continued. By now that
tool have paid for itself many many
times over.

If i where to just surf and look at porn and
stuff and chat, then i would not have a computer
since those things are a little uninteresting to me,
most of the times its just a huge waste of time
leading nowhere and fast. WP is the only place
i hang around at without having a work-reason
behind and its nice here, good people and alot
of good posts, its just "something" here i find
more meaningful then the other forums.

I use my computer as a form of communication mainly because that is the preferred form of communication of nearly everyone I talk to.

I am more of a telephone person myself.

But I use my computer also to browse the Best Buy and Ikea websites, and to enter reward points on www.mycokerewards.com
