The party is over, I am moving to the geek’s office. Due to council downsizing, me and 2 other admin assistant staff are moving to another office. I was talking with them today, they are not happy about moving. One of them, the beauty of the office, said that she would leave. What I lose from the move is I will not get an opportunity to learn more about interacting with extreme NTs. The office comprises of an NT extremist, who is opinionated and geek xenophobic, and another one who is as unpredictable as Gordan ramsey on katamin who is usually ok so long as I don’t talk too scientifically, and another who won a work award and is very bubbly and can make you smile. Another young woman is more intellectual( not geek) who I often talk to where the others might not want to hear or understand and the rest who contribute to the atmosphere. When I think about it, the change is like another credit crunch on top of the one we are already experiencing.

^ yeah, that phrase really jumped out at me when I read it too, just thinking about what that would be like really scares me.

Maybe an office with you, 2 NTs & some geeks won't be that bad, some normal interactions, some geeky interactions - a happy medium?

The guy is a good guy, he has made much improvement over his tearaway years he the acting street sweeper supervisor now. He often told me how things could have turned out much worse, if he never found his wife.

Still feel my opportunity to interact with extreme NTs have been cut short. I feel one member of the other office dubbed the most boringest man might actually be boring, But at least he has integrity. Guess they all have. They are either vegetarians, environmentalists or don't believing in watching TV.

I wonder if I can keep a desk drew full of food. And chuck paper cup general rubbish with the paper recycling without getting a bullerking. They even got a recycling bin for organic food waste.
