I love Thanksgiving. I don't know why this is just an American holiday...well, I do for the sense it was made, but I think everyday, every where people should give thanks for everything positive (or not so positive) things and people and events in their life.

So what are you thankful for?

Me - I'm thankful to still be alive and doing well, Rachel and my new neighbor Jim, my unique mind, WP, hugs and balls.

that's just the start of my list.

I am deeply thankful for my partner who manages to stick with me despite my efforts to the contrary; our home and our friends.
I am thankful my mother will make it through another holiday season.

omg...i have alot to be thankful for i feel, i`ve worked
hard for alot of things, but still i sometimes feel i should
be whipping myself or something to balance things out,
all and all i feel i`ve had enough luck to fill two lifes.
Some of the big things;

- I`m so very thankful that my mom is ok and in good
shape, after having three big strokes and loosing a
husband after 40 years together. Not sure if i could
take something like that and still smile myself.

- I`m so very thankful that i pulled myself out of a bad drug
habbit some years back. When i think about what my
life most likely would have been like now had i not
stopped, i seriously feel like throwing up, and its a
very scary thought- i feel i was way too close to just
becomming s**t.

- I`m so very very thankful that my last ex-girlfriend also stopped
with the drugs, it would have killed me to know that she went
downhill and there was nothing i could do, it would have hurt
so so bad every day all day. Instead i know shes ok and does
what she loves doing and that makes me very happy.

...theres more, but these are the big ones.

Oh, and i`m thankful i found my center and started
trusting my gut feeling some years back. And that
my cats like me and like to hang around and keep
me company.

I'm thankful to be alive. I thankful for my Family, Including One-winged-angel His Grandmother and his uncle, My friends(few though they are), Anubis, and Strapples, and all of you on here, Wrong planet, my pets, and my aspie group. I'm thankful that the failing economy hasn't hit my family as hard as some of my neighbors, and i'm thankful to have a roof over my head.
