I say fast food hamburgers because I do not notice this at respectable restaurants. Does anyone, whether you have an ASD or are an NT, absolutely HATE it when you order a burger at a local fast food joint and all of the pickles, bacon, sauce, or whatever is placed at the middle of the burger?

I personally find this annoying. Sometimes a worker will spread everything evenly, but mostly it is lazily put at the center. Sometimes, however, The patty itself is half way off the bun!

 I forgot to mention, I will still eat my food, but mostly after I 'fix up' my burger so I do not have to play games with what I am eating.

I don't mind fast food burgers in particular.
But I absolutely HATE big macs, they are disgusting. They might as well take a bun and fill it with lard, seriously.

A burger is a burger, no matter where the condiments are.

When I lived in Worcester, Massachusetts, there was a McDonald's (on Gold Star Blvd., IIRC) whose burgers were picture-perfect and which never needed to be "fixed" prior to consumption. They could have used them as models for advertising! I suspect the manager at the time must have had a touch of OCD. Even the fries were cooked and salted to perfection. :)

Unfortunately, he was probably fragged by some recalcitrant employee who couldn't be bothered to arrange the pickle slices without overlap or distribute the ketchup and mustard evenly, never mind getting the bun components and burger patties and cheese slices concentric.

It's so hard to find good help these days. :(

Messy burgers are ok, I go to a plce called Peters Drive Inn, in Calgary, they soak
the patty's in BBQ sauce, they also make the best fries and onion rings in town

i don't mind messy burgers but i do like the toppings to be evenly distributed. the reason i order stuff on my burger is so that i taste it while i'm eating, it's no good if i finish all my toppings in one bite because they're all in the middle. i also don't like the patty halfway off the bun

I also like lots of pickles and onions on mine. I just don't like it when I chomp into a burger and find that they dumped it all in one spot. Ick.

i forgot to mention, i don't really like fast food burgers. the only time i eat them is when i don't have any other choice or when i'm stoned, which is really the only time i actually want one and the only time i don't feel sick to my stomach after eating one

Can't say I've noticed that, I hate it when they goop the sauce on so I normally ask for no sauce.

I dont realy like pickles, I always pick them off (he he), I would like to have them in the center as I hate makeing a big mess and if the parts are all over the place the burger can fall apart. I actualy got a burger and being an ausie one it had beetroot, and I hate beetroot, despite I have often heard people say "you're not an aussie if you dont have beetroot on your burger. Anyway the bits of lettuce, egg, beetroot and bacon were all over the place and I couldnt even hold the burger as it would fall apart I ended up getting fed up and just eating the meat, egg and for some reason beetroot (at least there was no pineaple).

I almost always have to re-arrange mine. I hate it when I unwrap one and it looks like the kid flung the bits together.
