I think they're dumb. If you're going to create a non-human species, why only alter one feature? Orcs and goblins are more interesting.

Elf ears aren't a fetish for me or anything like that, but I think they're alright.

Normal sized ones, anyway...those foot-long/sideways crazy Japanime elf ears creep me right out

They're also short, slender, cannot grow facial hair, and have a specific facial structure (not quite sure how to describe it)...at least going by the traditional D&D definition of an elf.

wel there are TONS of definitons of elves... selecting DAD i guess is a good start but wht bout... LOTR, WOW, RS, ES... Any other RPGs i miss?

Gues it depends, they can look good on things like some cartoons or legend of zelda, but I thought I didnt like it and then I saw pic that made me change my mind.

They're a pain in the behind. I mean, you have to smear your ear with latex glue and then hold 'em on and they still fall off after five minutes. And there's usually a very visible line between ear and elf ear that's difficult to hide.

...don't see why anyone would find them attractive, though.
