Me... not that serious. Well, it was kind of. I had to stay in the hospital for 10 days when I was 12 (during the March break! :x ) for a throat abscess... they gave me clyndomycin intravenously but it didn't help, so they decided to drain it surgically... but once they knocked me out they couldn't get my mouth open to go in and take it out that way, so they had to slit my throat to get it out and I had (and still have) a scar that looks kind of like someone slit my throat! I lost 40 pounds; that was the great part of it... I was still overweight even after but barely!

Does anyone have any more interesting stories to tell? I lvoe extreme kinds of stories, as you know!

I broke my ankle walking down some stairs this summer... Zoned out skipped a few and rolled it that bad.

When I was 10 I was racing my brother on our bikes and I started pedaling really fast, I looked down and when I looked up BAMN head first into the back of a parked truck. LOL.

Had a 'pimple' underneath my left eye that was skin cancer. It had to be 'excised', which means completely cut out. I looked in the mirror, and could see the underneath of my eyeball. I then had to go have plastic surgery to sew up the hole. Quite traumatic. Lots of pain. My right eye now looks droopy.

I had my right arm broken when I was 9. It was said to be serious because a bone was not only simply broken but also crushed in one place but the hand still serves me well :D I didn't have any operation or anything.

I broke my right leg and left ankle at the same time when I was in the wilderness and all alone. I crawled to the car and drove for 45 minutes into town to the nearest clinic.

I've been struck by lightning twice, the first time was by direct strike. I've had 4 head injuries. I survived a near drowning at 4 years old where my 16 yr old cousin tried to kill me. I was held under water till I stopped breathing and went unconscious and then she left me on the bottom of the pool and left. A stranger pulled me from the bottom and resuscitated me.

I have an autoimmune illness which there is currently no treatment for. I also have chronic Lyme disease which has made scars on my brain. I currently have a knee injury and terrible arthritis so that I can barely walk these days.

I've had 8 major knee surguries, 1 knee replacement and 9 arthroscopes, 1 elbow replacement, tonsilectomy, been knocked uncounsicous 3 times, broken my arm twice, my leg once, cut my thumb off another time, tore my achilles tendon (twice), dislocated my shoulders, broken my nose, had a DVT (blood cot)

Ok... those are just the surgeries and injuries... :)

Yep... I'm clumsy beyond belief.

Ana, you seem to have a strange obsession with illness and suffering?

Anyway, I have gotten through life relatively unscathed in a physical sense.

I had stitches when I was about 2 as I cut my head open on the bottom of my bed. Still have the scar.
I have CPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
Hypothyroidism.
And I once needed 98 stitches on my forearm for a self inflicted wound.

I was in a car crash years ago. I fractured my spine and was in plaster for a few months. It was very painful and I had no feeling in my right leg for weeks but gradually it healed and I just have a tendency to get backache if I do a lot of bending or lifting, or sit for a long time.

I broke my wrist jumping from the second story to first story floor of my dorm in collage, then, because it was spring break and i had to go home, i did not wanna go to the hospital, so i drove 180 miles with a broken wrist all the way home, then to the hospital, i was a dumbass in collage.

I was riding my bike and i fell, in the dark, no helmit, on a very desolate street, knocks unconsious, face bloody, lucky someone saw thr flashing of my bike lights, ambulance came, i got stitches, and a new tooth from the hospital and dentist. Never did i ride a bike without a helmit again.

I've had a few operations on my hip. Every time I seem to have some sort of reaction to the anaesthetic. The last time i was sick for about 5 days non stop! I thought it was an infection but thankfully it wasnt.
