This guy is bothered with copyrighted content being posted on youtube because it's a violation so he makes a video ranting about it and what he got for responses were slags and put downs and non supportive, flames.

I made a funny joke in my response. :D

What would have left if all the copyrighted material left youtue?...

Personal home videos?... That would probably be it. It'd get boring real quick.

What's your U tube username, I can't tell which comment is yours, and if you click on the bar that shows the the type of comments you see and click 'poor(-10 or better)' then all the comments come up...

And anyway... It's not copywriting putting TV shows on U tube... It's actually giving the company's a hand by showing how good their television shows are

The heck?

It's great advertising. I've watched a few shows on YouTube, and I went out and bought the entire freaking series.

If YouTube was nothing more than "don't taze me, bro!" videos, I would never go there.

I would say YouTube would conform to this copyright stuff. The images/video shown is in a low-quality format (click the button on the video window to shrink the image to actual size), the sound quality is decreased, and as Apollyon said, it's the best form of free advertising to me. You don't even have to pay these buggers to put it up, they do it for people's enjoyment. I want to buy Jurassic Park after seeing the T-Rex bit on YouTube, and I recently bought the Back to the Future Trilogy on DVD because I watched the climaxes on YouTube.

And if all that left, then it'd just be people like him with a low-shot video camera talking or blogging about random s***. Few of it is interesting.

Or better yet, the only thing that would be left would be Chris Crocker videos.

Oh, the horror!

all the material posted on youtube is based on, or at least contains, some small amount of copyrighted material, from background music, to footage from FF AC on the music videos people make, so if copyrighted stuff was removed, that would be crap

although i have noticed that youtube are cracking down on letting people embed copyrighted music, but then someone else uploads the same video with embedding enabled, so, problem solved =)
