here are mine:
1. I predict that I will be one year older, making me ancient (25 years young)
2. The stock market will continue to fall and be extremely unstable. There will be days of extreme movements both up and down, but mainly down.
3. A recession will happen.
4. Bush will continue to say, "The economy is strong" then that day the Dow falls 300 points.
5. I predict the US will TRY to elect a new president.
6. Bush will try to do something to prevent us electing a new president, thats why I said "try" in number 5.
7. AMD stock hits $3 a share and Intel hits $15 a share if the recession happens. I track those stocks and have some stock in Intel because my dad works there. If we avoid a recession and the first few days were just fake, I say Intel will hit $30 a share. But that is extremely unlikely. $15 is more likely because I know all!
8. Gas hits $4 a gallon.
9. Oil hits $110 a barrel.
10. World peace. Not!
11. If a Democrat is elected, gas falls to less than $2 a gallon within the first 6 months to a year in office.
12. If it is a Republican, gas hits $5 in 2009.
13. I predict that I will go psycho. Oh wait! That has already happened.
14. I predict that most of people's predictions will be wrong.
15. There will be no horrible hurricanes like Katrina but the hurricane season will be a little worse than the last 2 years which no hurricanes hit the US.
16. Unemployment hits 6.5% by the end of the year.
17. Intel and companies like it (the tech industry) will cut at least 10,000 jobs each due to worse than expected earnings.
18. The best thing of the year is that troop casualties in Iraq reach all time lows, with an average of 20 dead a month, maybe less.
19. Iraq has the calmest year on record since the war started.
20. Bush says something funny.

So, what are your predictions for this year?

I beleive gasoline will remain in the $3.01-3.99 range.

I beleive oil will be relativly stable in the $100 a barrel range.

I beleive gasoline will decline when summer comes just a tad.

I beleive troops will begin leaving Iraq.

I beleive Hillary Clinton will be president.

I beleive I will work at the same stupid job and continue to have my hours go down till summer.

I beleive I will wanna better job but fear change and meeting new people so I will never go anywhere.

Things will be better between my parents and I.

Gas prices will go up.

The US will elect another idiot, but things will be slightly better because we can't get someone much worse than Bush.

Capitalism will continue to thrive like no thing imaginable, but there will be some problems with economies.

The standard of living will go down just a tad in highly industrialized nations and go up just a tad in the (im)pending industrialized nations.

America will become more polarized possibly to the point of civil...problems.

Foreign policy will go down the toilet and then come up a bit if someone finds a plunger.

I will change dramatically, but, essentially, I will still be the same.

I'm feeling like I need to be a kind of a survivalist in 2008. Food and fuel prices going up. Jobs going down. I'm planting a vegatable garden and wearing more sweaters instead of turning on the heat.

Young people are going to be more involved because their "loving" parents did such a good job at royally screwing up their futures. So maybe it won't be business as usual, as we sink. Maybe it will be the second coming of the hippies.

Second coming of the hippies, eh? My ideal situation.

Tim

If I survive the year (which I plan to), I'll turn 25.

My mother will turn 50.

I'll waste far too much time on the internet.

We will have another "terrorist attack" on the nation, and Bush will remain president by Marshall Law. Then s**t will hit the fan in the next couple of years.

But we will still stay inside the comfort of our homes and hope that things will all just work out.

Either or if, Ron Paul gets elected, tries to get rid of the Fed and give America its own banking system, but is assasinated, just like Lincoln and Kennedy.

More likely though, The Bush Neo-cons will detonate a Nucleur device in a predominatly Black city, blame it on Iran, get to declare Marshall Law so he can stay in office, start World War 3.

The Global bankers will continue to engineer the collapse of America via a finactial collapse giving them the excuse to get one step nearer a One World Governmnet by uniting Canada, USA and Mexico.

I think you will have to wait another couple of years though before they insist you get the Mark of the beast and worship thier god.

I predict another cat will enter my life, which has already happened. Her name is C.C., short for Calico Cat.

Good call on the terrorist attack. Are you one of those Nostradamus disciples or something?
Bush will likely die. It's the year-ending-in-0 conspiracy. It's all over the internet.

Reagan escaped it--narrowly--after being shot in 1981.
