My BIG obssession is EC archives

They reprint the infamous EC comics from the 1950's
Tales from the Crypt, Weird Science, Shock Suspenstories, etc.

They ROCK!

Hi,MADduck. I love those old scary comics. I have several old ones from the early to mid 1970s. The ones I loved were from a publisher called Eerie Publications (not Eerie the magazine which I believe was Warren Publications). Eerie Publications made really macabre comics under the names of Terror Tales, Horror Tales, Tales from the Tomb, Weird, Witches' Tales, Voodoo Tales, etc. Even though I am 44 years old, I still keep those comics by my bedside and re-read them from time to time.

I made a post about trying to find others who collected or enjoyed the old scary comics. I think I may have accidentally put that post on the general discussion rather than here in the random discussion.

Here is something kind of trivial about the horror comics. I am a huge amusement park researcher. I am making a scale model (HO scale) amusement park on my train layout in the basement. One of the feature attractions of the park is a 4-level dark ride that I call Eerie Mansion. Of course, it is largely based on Eerie Publications. Even though the model will have no interior scenes, I am making a sketch/rendering of it so that one can see what the ride would be like in real life. I am using the illustrations from those magazines as models for the dioramas of the imaginary dark ride.
