PErsonally, I'm not keeping track. I have surpassed 10 000 on a few too many sites to have it mean much anymore.

You're right, once I got the bit between my teeth in terms of posting, the 1000 mark came quite quickly.

I remember Tim_Tex posting on mine. Don't think he bothered to read what the post actually was about. Why celebrate 1000 posts? I have surpassed 1000 posts on other sites ages ago, on one of them I am closing in on 3000, but on that one, I make worthwhile comments, if I just post for the sake of it, I could be no.1 poster. As it is, I am no.2
