I hate it when on a forum (not this one, another one in particular) nobody reads the new threads, and about a half hour later, posts the same thing as a new topic when there's already four of them, because three other people did the same thing! It drives me bananas. There might already be a topic about this so I might be doing the exact same thing that I hate. I just thought I'd let everyone know .

Yes, this happens. Wrong Planet is vast so no one can convievably read all posts, at least I hope not!

Sometimes a post or topic is written then later a nearly identical post occurs - just probability. I know I've unintentionally done that too.

But I think what would be most embarrassing is if 2 of us should inadvertently have the same avatar picture - that's the equivalent of wearing the exact same dress to the same party.

Install a redundancy alert? Deja vu happens.

This is why I won't even post on anything that's already longer than 2 pages.

Well, on this particular forum that I speak of, it's incredibly frustrating because the whole forum is about one thing. So for someone to not even look, when it's updated weekly is realllly irritating.
