Your place of Escape

In meditation or just while dreaming in wishful thought you escape to a place of peace ,serenity and comfort. Describe the place you picture in your head or just simply post a pic (of similarity)...

It can be more than just one place.

Thanks mate. I think I'll never return here and sip some coconut juice, throw a straw, resting my head on one of those well formed buttocks and never worry about a thing anymore.

I think in chinese worry also means buttocks =P

9/10 I escape when asleep, so it depends what my dreams are, unless the 1/10 time I cannot escape

But seriously does no one have any place of escape, even a fantasy world to which they create in their head?

TBH I never meditate, so I don't have a place, but I always long for a place where I lived about 15 years ago, even though I only lived there for about three years I loved it, a small quiet paradise. Unfortunately I don't have a future there (long story), but that's one of the places I'd love to live, maybe when I retire I'll go back there...

BTW I remembered an aspie artist that created a fantasy world, can't remember the name, I read about him a couple of years ago but can't find any info about it.

Was he French? The one who draws whole (self made up) cities? Quite beautiful and surely impressive. Somewhere I have a clip, a video (on my computer) I think. Don't know if it still findable....

A tree-house? In beautiful scenery.

Hmmm, maybe I'm being too restrcitve by using the word meditation. It just that I wanted to see where peoples minds drift and what different places or locations they find themselves drifting towards which gives them a sense of escape from everyday life. ok whether you meditate or not, in your mind, there is place for everyone.

that's the main plaza, as you can see it's colonial, and it's not too uncommon to see tourists taking pics on tour.

I can't post a pic because I made it up in my head depends on the day/time/mood/ who i'm with.

I've imagined owning a cabin on a lake and owning all of the land surrounding said lake. the cabin was like wayyyyyyyy off on some dirt road nobody knew about, the cabin has a back porch coming off of the bedroom and a hammock on the back porch. In the spring I like to imagine myself on the hammock under the covered porch in the rain. In the summer I'm in a field of soft soft soft grass with 1 tree sleeping under the stars. And in the winter i'm infront of the fireplace thats surrounded by windows and it's snowing w/ a lit christmas tree. it's dumb, but it makes me happy.

I like designing houses while i meditate also, but sometimes my mind gets on such a roll that I can't sleep because i go into every detail of what i want this house to be, and where.
