Do you guys think that trolls could be working their way into moderating positions on popular sites like youtube or myspace so that once there are enough they could destroy the internet? Maybe they play it safe and honest until they reach the top. But then again, they are trolls, they cant be that smart, or can they? Probably not happening but its possible I suppose, no, it couldnt be, but youtube has tons of trolls, what if?

Yes they exist, but i mean a hypotehtical scinario where they become moderators and destroy the websites turing it into useless spam and make it whatever they want. Could it happen?

sounds a bit paranoid. I think they just do it to wind people up. And they can say what they like, cause no-one can beat the crap out of them.

Exactly, their just a bunch of stupid 12 year olds who like to get people angry. But imagine a worst-case scinareo like the one I said. What if their older or smarter?

If a troll were to somehow become a moderator of a website, they wouldn't be able to destroy it because there is one person above Mods and that's the admin (or owner) of the website and they can ban these "troll mods' if they started spamming the website, an admin isn't going to check on his/her website and go 'Hey! what's up with a ll these spam threads, oh never mind a moderator made them I guess they're all right then."

I mean being a moderator and not doing anything, letting the rest slip by, like the trojan horse thing, or HIV.
