It seems pretty interesting and confirms most of the stuff I've read from a few mechanics' blogs, despite that the URL's elude my memory for the time being. I've had great results using it for a piston soak (pull plugs, pour in, put towel over holes (NOT INTO HOLES), sit overnight, spin engine to purge excess, replace plugs, and fire it up. That fixed the oil burn in an old 98 saturn SC2 I had. I've also had nice results on aging fuel injectors and fuel pump by adding it to fuel.

Anyone got experience with the stuff? It seems to have quieted down my transmission slamming/farting/crunching quite a bit. I got a full flush n' such planned in the very near future, and there's quite a bit sitting in my crankcase, scrubbing all that caked up crap out of the engine that it soaked up on the auction lot before the dealer bought it. Ever at MMO to power steering fluid? I know ATF is usually compatible with power steering fluid and that small amounts of MMO do work fine in ATF fluid, no more than about 16 ounces.

My car is a 2001 hyundai elantra, about 90k miles. Transmission is ok but a bit rough, minor slippage when she's hot. The motor sounds awesome, but the breaks definitely need pads and shoes. There are no visible radiator leaks. I also replaced the air filter since it looked like someone dug it up out of a mud pit. I worked on a 96 buick century v6 earlier. It had a engine rebuild done but still had crap in the case. I added MMO to that and some decent ATF to the transmission. She actually runs good now, and the MMO will burn off a little bit and bring the oil back down to a lower pressure.

My dad had a noisy Ford Ranger, I used to add this to the oil...helped quiet it down.

I first tested it out on one of my old VW's (it was a smoker, with undetermined mileage...odometer busted when I found it), really helped.

There's a bunch of plastic crap in the way of this HYUNDAI to make it difficult to do an easy MMO soak. I will add some to crankcase, gas, transmission, and steering just before getting a flush, purge, and refill. I'm thinking it should be higher than a 50/50 chance that the car will run great after that, but I'm just paranoid because of all the weird stuff happening to me lately.

I know some folks that rig up a hose to the intake manifold and carefully dump Seafoam into the intake while going down the interstate at 70mph to prevent locking up. I can definitely say I've never broken anything with MMO. I've used it on several cars, a few trucks, a few lawn tractors, for marine engines, and for small engines like weed eaters. I like the smell, too
