I remember seeing someone from Nova Scotia but I don't remember his username :chin:

I'm thinking of going to the Bay of Fundy in May or June but wondering if it's better to go to Nova Scotia or New Brunswick. :help:

Anyone been and have travel tips/advice?

I'm from New Brunswick :)
Bay of Fundy is great. It is far better to go to NB, so you can see the Hopewell Rocks
Nova Scotia's BOF isn't that amazing tbh

Good to know *adds Hopewell Rocks to her list*

I've never been to the east coast and I'm driving from Toronto. I'm psyched about it. 8)

It's the armpit of Canada
You should go to the beach in Shediac NB
PEI is also worth a trip.

Not from there, but I remember visiting the maritime provinces when I was a teenager. We took an auto-ferry from Bar Harbor, Maine to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, then drove around and came back by land through New Brunswick. My mom had a fascination with Anne of Green Gables, and was determined that we see PEI and the surrounding places, so we did that as well. Only part I didn't see that I really wanted to was Cape Breton.
BOF was cool, and I particularly liked Halifax. A very nice city.

Sorry I can't be more specific on stuff to do... it's been a while
I have good memories of Canada in general, and particularly the maritimes.

I'm from Nova Scotia myself and both NS and NB are nice provinces and both share coastlines around the Bay of Fundy. I'm from Halifax myself and it's a nice city. :)

I am getting really excited about going. I just remembered that my Mum is coming to Canada to visit in May so I think I'll move the trip to the beginning of June.

Although my kids are awesome at roadtrips (I've been doing it with them since they were born) I do panic a little at the thought of doing 19 hours in a truck with a 10 and 4 year old, even if we do split it into 2 days. 8O

If you plan to come to Halifax and all, PM me and let me know, I have an 8 and 6 year old and it'd be neat to meet another mom with AS and all too.

My gosh. My kids would love that! :) I have a huge social phobia, but if I end up in Halifax, I will definitely PM you and let you know so we can meet up. I figure you'll be good about forgiving my quirks.
