I sat down and wrote down a list of foods I could give my son for every meal. I wrote down the foods we usually get for each section so that way I can look at the list and pick which one to give. That would avoid the stress of what to give my boy. I stuck it up on the fridge for me to see it. So much easier.

Yeah, I find that having the options for anything clearly listed in front of me removes a lot of the stress of on-the-spot decision making.

When mine were that age, our list would look like this:

Cheerios
Sliced cheese (Kraft)
Mayonaise sandwich
Pickles
Cheerios
Mac and cheese
Cheerios

Guess what they mostly ate?
