If anyone lives near or visiting Jersey City, you MUST go visit the Liberty Science Center.
I took my grandson there and it was magnificent! Plus a great view of the Jersey City skyline...
if you enjoy skylines. I've been to several throughout the years and this one, by far, is the best! They have an IMAX and a 3D theater as well but I feel like we lost time because of the shows. They were good but we didn't get to all the exhibits. We missed going through a wind tunnel and getting to go into a machine that asks you questions and then shows you on screen, in an actual skit answering those very questions in Japanese, French, or Spanish. Ya GOTTA GO!! !

If you feel like travelling sometime, check out the one in Toronto. It's outstanding!! ! We have a membership and it's the place my kids always want to go to. I'm going to the one in New Brunswick in June and I'm hoping to hit the one in Sudbury, ON in the fall.

I love Science Centres once I get over my fear of the crowds.

I have only been to the Pacific Science Center in Washington. It has been more than 10 years since my last visit but from what I remember it is a very fun place. I spent the night there once with a community group. I think they have an insect exhibit now.

Speaking of great views, this is where I used to go read in my younger days. It’s the Hastings On Hudson public library in New York State. The only picture I could find is of the children’s section. The view of the Hudson River is even better in the adult section. I haven’t been there in thirty years. I assume it’s still there and the view is just as good. In fact I remember I used to have trouble concentrating on what I was reading because of the view.
