My older son is BACK from his tour in Iraq!! He's home! He's home!! He's back in one piece but has to go in for surgery for a knee replacement. He's alive and well....just needed to express my happiness!

I am very happy for you RightGalaxy and your son. I hope his knee replacement surgery goes well. I don't mean to sound like a worry wort here, but I like to caution people about blood clots and surgery. I had back surgery in 2004 and got a blood clot in my right leg, then I had a pulmonary embolism. I found out that they did not put compression stockings on me---which could prevent blood clots from forming. And I think they left me lay in the recovery room too long while waiting for a private room to open up. (I wanted a private room---understandable I think).

Anyway---great news he is home and basically well (except for the knee). Have him take care with the knee. My father-in-law had both his knees replaced several years ago and it went very well for him.

Don't worry about planting the "worry seed". The cure for worry is to have a positive plan of action. I shall look out for what you mentioned. Thanks. :)
