I have an Olympus SP-350. It a year old but now, the view-finder doesn't work, it's always black. The camera is "on" but with a blank screen. Does anyone know what may be the cause? Thanks :?

Just a guess, I've tinkered with a few, but I'm no expert.

It could be just a loose ribbon cable from the board to the LCD or...worst case....the LCD itself.

If the backlight is at fault you will sometimes still see a "ghost" of an image.

It was the bleedin' "visual sensor" because I was still able to display stored pictures. Now I have to send it out for repair....(blowing air). FSSSSSS. But thanks anyway :)
