In my country farting and the activity of making a humming top spin have exactly the same name. Strange but true.

I farted probably about 2 hours ago in class. I let it slip out slowly and quietly but if I pushed.......

I think 5 farts a day is the average for most humans. so whoever voted for "yesterday" or "never" obviously lied

I guess you're right but in moderation, over doing it.... nah.
To break the ice with kids it works perfect, making a fart like sound with your lips, I've noticed.... Another silly story (I guess you'd had to be there but....) years ago a friend of mine (still living with his parents plus also his grandma lived there) and when he farted quite hard and grandma was in the room, he said; oh, grandma (>75), that's disgusting, how can you do such a thing when C. (i.e. me) is here, what would he think? And she didn't know where to look or how to act and sat befarted (?) 
and shamefully on the couch. Thinking of this makes me laugh.
