A woman I didn't know bought me a candy bar tonight!

I was at a store in another town earlier tonight standing in the checkout line to buy a candy bar. When she got to the front of the line, she took the candy bar out of my hand, handed it to the checkout guy to ring up, and then handed it back to me!

It sounds like you were behind her, and she had several items to ring-up? If that was the case, maybe she paid for you, so you could be on your way, while she was still working on her transaction. Either way, it was VERY thoughtful, and COOL!!

She just had a six pack of a soft drink and something in a box that I didn't recognize. The soft drink was probably Coke or Dr Pepper. The cashier already had hers scanned in when she took the candy bar out of my hand.
