Its effecting my mental health, like why should I work if people think I am just an incubator, never wanted kids never will ...leave me alone. And all anti abortion policies cause is suffering of women and anyone who can get get prengnant for a embryo or fetus that can't even survive.

Like pro-lifers being happy about a person forced to give birth when the fetus was unviable, where it was born and immediately died a painful death due to being born without kidneys...the abortion would have been kinder for the woman and the fetus.

Just seems like this is going on and people just go about their daily lives like its not happening, but it is just seems like it is still an elephant in the room issue no one ever wants to talk about.

I agree with your sentiments. I've ranted and written extensively on this topic in PPR from personal, ethical, medical, metaphysical, criminal, social, legal, political, and religious points of view. I've even considered what is best for men as fathers.

I'm grateful to live in a country where I'm considered a sovereign individual, with free agency and personhood protected by our Charter of Rights.

Now would be a great time to start selling mifepristone and misoprostol to American clients.

I hear you. I generally don't watch the news. So much that is illogical and painful.

A few years ago my company reduced coverage related to reproductive issues (e.g. reduction to near zero of preventive treatment for ectopic pregnancies and a coverage exemption for unwanted teenage pregnancies) and I put myself out there to reinstate it - until we care enough to prevent, care afterwards at least. After initial "we can't cover every medical condition", coverage was increased. Currently I am waging a quiet, slow battle against misogyny in general at my former company. I'm doing what little I can. I have an Allistic co-worker who is very active (e.g. she'll escort women for care, etc). Kudos to her and others that can and do more. I look forward to when the issue is better understood by the general population and appropriate people are in positions of power, consulting for positions of power or in the minimum have allies that are in positions of power to normalize women's healthcare. ----Geez, what am I thinking... back to the illogicalness and painfulness of it all.

Yes and I feel so sorry for every woman living in the USA.

It's one of the reasons I'm glad I needed a total hysterectomy, including my ovaries being removed because of a large cyst on my right ovary that was putting pressure on my other organs. At the time, I was looking into getting my tubes removed after Roe was overturned, even though I'm in California which for now, has women's reproductive rights protected by the state's Constitution. My only regret was not pushing for sterilization back in 2017 when I wanted to switch birth control methods away from the pill. I ended up getting the copper IUD because it lasts the longest, so now I can say that I had the most painless form of IUD removal, only because I was under general anesthesia for it. I was already perimenopausal before my surgery, so there wasn't much of a chance I'd even keep a pregnancy or have it become ectopic, which would have put me at greater risk in some states now.

That poor woman. That person that made her give birth should go to jail. I feel so bad about the baby. That person killed the baby.

I read about a 11 year old got pregnant in Peru, she got raped by her step-father, they allow her to have an abortion, GOOD! She going have enough mental problems without a baby.

While I don't think abortion should be ever treated lightly, there's nothing pro-life about forcing a woman to risk her life to give birth to an unviable fetus.

Officially, it's legal to give an abortion to save the mother's life - but the reality now is, to avoid legal problems, hospitals wait until the threat to the life would be obvious - and this means every now and then, a completely preventable death occurs.

There's nothing pro-life about it.

And the irony is, laws like that hit worst not the women who don't want children at all - modern contraception is quite effective - but ones who want children but consider abortion as an option when things go wrong. So much about affecting birth rate.

Yes, I'm so pissed off for all the women who aren't as lucky as I am.
Strictly speaking, no woman has a happy abortion and it's far too painful to be taken lightly.
Yes, they know what to do when they have to do it.

For my part, I want to have my tubes tied and it's still too complicated to find a doctor willing to do it on a nulliparous woman, even in my country.
