I'm having trouble with the straps of my bras. The cup size is either right or a touch too small, but the straps are so loose on my that tightening it completely doesn't help. I've always had a really slender back/shoulders, despite any weight gain/loss I've had, but it's gotten worse since I've lost 10 pounds because I haven't lost any size in my chest at all but more in the shouders and back.
Is there anything I can do to make the straps smaller?

A friend calls them the 'over the should titty boulder holder' but she's the one with the boulders, not me.

I don't have that problem but I wear sport bras, just because they're more comfortable.

I have this problem too. I can never keep the blasted straps up! There are special clips/pins that you can use to pin the strap onto the shoulder seam of your shirt. I never tried it but maybe it'll work for you. :D

I find bras really comfy actually, I sleep with them since I've started wearing them, so I'm used to them. I feel kinda flimsy without one :P
I'll definitely try that :)

But you were just quoting your friend?
It wasn't said in an offense way, so it's okay.

No problem, I'm not one to take offense easily. Grudges against morons, yes, but offense about wording, no :P
So ironic since as a kid I was soooo picky about word choice, nobody could ever say anything "bad", including damn, hell and stupid :P Like to the point I wouldn't talk to them anymore, lol XD

There are those bra-strap holders, the round things that pull the straps toward the middle of your back. Maybe you could try one of those? Tighten the straps as much as possible, then use one of those, which should tighten them more, and keep them from falling off your shoulders.

Mine constantly fall off my shoulders.. I'm chubby and there's just no reason for it. It annoys the crap out of me but I'm also big enough that I can't use one of the strap things I just mentioned, because I wouldn't be able to reach it.

What kind of bras do you wear, that you're able to wear them while you sleep? I used to do that with my soft, padded, no-underwire bras. They affected the skin around my chest and it's now a darker color >.<

Go to a good department store and get a proper fitting. Yes, it seems weird the first time you do it, but they just measure you, give you the bra that should fit, then YOU put it on (no help!) and they check after.

They say that 75% of the women walking around are in the wrong size bra. Also, once they do the fitting, they'll tell you a style that is best for your shape and size. It really is worth it.

Most women have the wrong sized bras?

You are so right. I was walking around in a 38D, and it turned out I'm a 36DDD.

I feel so much better now that I have the correct sized bras.

So when they do the fitting, do you have to strip for them? Because I don't think I'd be comfortable with that. I don't even like looking at myself when I change outfits so I don't want to subject others to seeing that.

I think they usually let you leave a t-shirt on. Just as long as it's thin enough for them to get a good measurement.

They do this all of the time, it's no big deal to them.

It's just skin, like measuring your feet.

Usually it's an older lady who is unlikely to feel anything for you other than a motherly concern.

Yeah, lots of stretched out skin from being a fatass. I'm afraid that my band size will end up BIGGER than what it already is. It's hard enough finding a 40C in stores, so if I end up being a 42C or bigger, I probably won't be able to find anything to fit without having it custom made. Not to mention I never can get cleavage without manually squishing them together. I see girls with a smaller cup size get beautiful cleavage so why can't I? D:

Unless it's at Victoria's Secret where the employees are required to be hot girls. I don't need their judgment. D:
