Women have got to seriously be super thin to wear these type of pants. I don't consider myself overweight. I'm 5'4, 124 pounds. and 32 years old. When the employees at certain womens apparel look at me they assume I'm a size 2 or 4. YEA I wish. My cousins on mom's side are all between a Size 0-4. They are married, and have had kids and well into their 40s. But then again they are full Korean and I know that asian women tend to be petite and thin compared to American women. I can't fit any of the pants where the zipper is so short and it's low rise. It's so uncomfortable for me since I have several medical conditions. I like to have more room in the stomach area especially. I can't stand tight pants that put pressure on my bladder. I have Thurs off since it's Federal Holiday. I do like to shop at Forever 21 and in fact they have a plus size there. I may try on their smallest pants there and see if it's ok for me. I would love to wear yoga pants, sweats, or pants with no zippers and buttons but I do work in an office setting. The women here don't wear business suits, mostly business casual. Some of the men here even wear holey jeans and no one says anything. I don't think it's an aspie thing about skinny jeans and just being very sensitive when it comes to clothes. I don't know how else to put it.

The look uncomfortable as hell. Any clothes that are really "fitted" don't feel comfortable to me. I like loose clothes that don't feel like they're clinging to me

I can wear "Semi-skinny", but even then It feels like I am wearing a nutcracker.
As for fitted shirts, yes I do wear em and don't mind them at all. My favorite Iron maiden shirt is fitted, and it looks great on me IMO.

Me too. I find tighter clothes more comfortable. I'm not thin, but I do have relatively skinny legs compared to my torso.

Guy here too, and I don't why some guys wear girl jeans as well.

Personally, I prefer my jeans a little on the tight side if they have some spandex in them for stretch. It's also brand-dependent as well. Like I said in the other forums, "designer or premium" jeans such as Seven or Citizens of Humanity work best on my body type and they tend to feel the best against my skin. I won't wear mall brand jeans like Hollister/Abercrombie or American Eagle nor will I wear Diesel/True Religion/Rock and Republic - in the case of the former the fabric feels like sandpaper and their sizing is distorted towards skinny figures and teenagers while in the case of the latter it's fit(especially with Diesel which is Euro-centric) and aesthetic issues. If I'm spending more than $100 on a pair of jeans they had better fit me right, feel right and most importantly NO gaudy/tacky back pocket designs.

Sorry if I ranted girls/guys.

Oh yea I went to American Eagle and tried on their boyfriend jeans, Sizes 8 and 10 ankle length. WAY too tight! They are boyfriend fit too which I thought meant more looser fit. I do have a pair of jeans that are boyfriend fit that I got last fall from Limited and it's very loose on me that I need to wear it with a belt. I have a serious bladder syndrome that makes it very hard to find pants.

If you're willing to spend $100 or more on jeans, go to Nordstrom and try of a pair of Seven/Citizens of Humanity/Paige/Joe's jeans. Yes, expensive but they are fit around an actual human fit model, most cuts will have stretch, and a low-rise fit that you can live with. My mom says Gap fits her well too at 50% less.

I hate skinny jeans! The make me look like a carrot due to my big hips, those Hartman hips! Worst of all, my big hips are permanently big, I swear, they are nothing by skin and bone, there is like, hardly any fat on them and they are still wide, of course, I'm equally top-heavy too...

I like straight-legged jeans better... I'm also at a healthy weight for my height, it's more of your body figure...

i wear the biggest regular size, or the smallest plus size. but i wear skinny jeans sometimes. i have a round bubble butt that apparently looks pretty good in tight jeans. i wear them big enough so that i can still breathe though.

i like big pants too. i sewed some *gigantic* wide-leg pants that i wore for a while.

Gap, Old Navy jeans tried them too. All are uncomfortable. Well I did it today. :) I'm wearing these black yoga pants to work. But they are nice enough for work. No one has said anything. No zippers, no buttons, very loose around my stomach/bladder area so I'm happy. They are bootcut so it does look nice. I may get a grey and brown pair too. lol

But I will go on try on the smallest plus size that any store has. Someone on another forum for this bladder disease that I have suggested buying maternity pants. Actually it's not a bad idea. More room for me in stomach area and it won't put pressure on my bladder. When I see young ladies in skinny jeans and tight leggings I cringe. Some of them are so overweight but they still wear them. Some are so thin. 8O
